Wife’s frown turned upside down

My wife hates gloves, but recognizes that in certain temperatures, it’s a necessity to prevent one’s hands from resembling frozen velociraptor claws. And so, despite her underlining resentment for fabric covering her hands, she has been all smiles on the cooler riding days with these appendage adornments. Thanks Chromag for saving us from discussing another topic in therapy!

Excellent cool weather gloves

These have been my go-to glove all fall. They are warm enough for cool days and comfortable to pedal up or shred down. My hands are always cold, but the breathability and thickness work (until it’s full winter). I also like the text-friendly finger tips so I don’t have to take them off on chilly days.

* disclosure: I ride for the Chromag grassroots team

Seem solid but weird fit

I've only had these gloves for 3-4 rides so far, so unsure how long they'll last. The gloves are more robust than usual riding gloves, but they're more like an xc ski glove or something. Fit is weird. I have two other pairs of chromag gloves that fit me perfectly in size Large. But in these the palm fits great but the fingers are way too long. So I can't use a phone with them on. The ends of my fingers there is a solid 1-1.5cm of material bunching up. Doesn't really matter when riding but I have to take them off to use my phone, use a tool, etc. Sizing down and the palm is way too small.

They're not waterproof, your hands will be cold if you're riding in the rain or you crash into some mud. But they are fairly warm. I did a few rides with 1-2 degrees C and I was happy I had them vs regular riding gloves. The longer cuff up the forearm is nice and I kinda wish all gloves had this feature, even for summer riding.

Awesome Fall Glove!

I deal with cold hands and these have been treating me quite well during some chilly rainy rides here in Whistler. They are not waterproof, but feel fairly weather resistant and still provide warmth when wet. The fabric delivers excellent block from the wind and is a perfect amount of insulation to ride with while pedaling up and down in the rainy weather.

They run a bit larger than the other gloves I purchased from Chromag - but, after using them, I was quite happy with the fit.

Good weight to warmth ratio!

Happy with my Raven gloves so far! The fit is a bit looser than the rest of the chromag gloves but that seems to help circulation and actually keeps my hands a bit warmer than they normally would and I get really really cold hands. For their weight these actually provide good warmth. The material isn't fully waterproof but definitely cuts through the wind and water beads off them, so unless you're riding in a torrential downpour I've been pretty dry. All around pretty happy with these gloves, use them for ski touring as well.
